Hillary Clinton congratulated Obama’s foreign policy leadership in her announcement last weekend, saying "there's a lot of good news" across the world today. The only thing more remarkable than her statement is that the crowd didn’t laugh out loud. Even President Obama's staunch defenders can’t name one country on the planet with whom we have a better relationship now than we did when he took office.

18 months ago, Obama described the Islamic State as "junior varsity." Today, the Islamic State is twice the size of the state of South Carolina. The Middle East is tipping towards a nuclear arms race, Iran is on the cusp of a nuclear bomb, and Israel faces dangers like never before. China's power keeps swelling across Asia, and Hillary Clinton's "reset" with Putin was really just a fast-forward button for Russian tanks into Ukraine.

Let me be clear: Hillary’s definition of "good news" is not mine. As president, I will demand the peace, prosperity, and real security our children and grandchildren deserve. The "good news" in my book: taking our country in an upward direction and keeping Americans truly safe.
